Double Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1-1/4 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups sifted all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips



  • Method:

  • Cream butter and sugar than add eggs and vanilla.
  • Combine flour cocoa and soda then blend into creamed mixture.
  • Add chocolate chips then drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 350 for 9 minutes being careful not to over bake.
  • Cool on cookie sheet until set about 1 minute then remove to wire rack to cool completely.
