Asian Style Mushroom Burgers

 Ingredients:

  • 1-1/2 pounds ground chuck
  • 6 dried shitake mushrooms soaked in hot water 30 minutes finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 1 scallion finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon five spice powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

    •

    Method:

  • Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl and mix thoroughly with your hands.
  • Form gently into 4 patties and grill over hot coals turning once halfway through cooking.
