Joshs Double Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/3 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp.baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 340 gram pkg chocolate chips, divided
  • 1/2 c. softened butter
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • icing sugar



  • Method:

  • Combine flour, baking powder and salt in bowl.
  • In seperate bowl, melt 1 c. chocolate chips, set aside.
  • Beat butter with sugar, stir in melted chocolate and the vanilla. Beat in eggs
  • Stir in the flour mixture. Add remaining chips, cover dough and chill for 1 hour (altough I am impatient, and have skipped this step...worked out fine!)
  • Shape into 1" balls, roll in icing sugar
  • Place on baking sheet, bake at 350ΒΊ 10 - 12 minutes, until tops crack.
  • Cool and remove.
