Lemon Lime Baked Sweet Potatoes

 Ingredients:

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 7 ounces lemon lime soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 4 large sweet potatoes sliced

    •

    Method:

  • In heavy skillet combine all ingredients except sweet potatoes.
  • Boil together 5 minutes then add sweet potatoes and simmer 20 minutes.
  • Place in 350 oven and bake 20 additional minutes.
