Grandma Helens Chocolate Cookies
Ingredients:
2 squares of chocolate
1/2 cup of butter or crisco
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup of sweet milk
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
(Nuts if desired)
Method:

Melt chocolate and shortening together
Add sugar, egg and milk
Drop on well greased sheet
Bake at 350 for 15 mins
Makes approx 2 1/2 dozen
